GT3X+ Activity Monitor
ActiGraph’s GT3X+ tri-axial activity monitor provides objective physical activity measurements such as activity counts and vector magnitude, energy expenditure, steps taken, physical activity intensity, MET’s and more. An integrated ambient light sensor supplies valuable information on the subject environment. Unlike previous ActiGraph devices, the GT3X+ collects data in raw format at a user specified sample rate ranging from 30 to 100 Hertz. Filtering and epoch selection are performed after data is collected, allowing users to process and analyze datasets multiple times at varying epochs. The GT3X+ has an inclinometer to determine subject position and identify periods when the device has been removed, and it can be worn during periods of sleep to measure the amount and quality of sleep. The water resistant GT3X+ stores up to 40 days of raw data, and its rechargeable battery is capable of providing power for 31 days between charges.
